Extracting the maximum value from water for people & wildlife
Without water, there is no life.
We’ve always been determined to make sure that water is considered early on in the design process.
In particular we like to investigate the use of techniques like Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), Natural Flood Management (NFM) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). These feature in most of our schemes, to ensure that opportunities are taken to extract the maximum value from water for people and wildlife.
We’ve therefore been involved in the promotion of this at CIRIA and in other forums! David has delivered numerous talks to help people see how this might be done, using examples from UK and abroad.
